    CRASHED! - A Smartphone's Life

    At a recent coffee meetup, a friend of mine pulled out his smarthphone and proceeded to use it like any other person would.  (The smartphone he uses is the one in the picture associated with this post.)  You can no doubt imagine the shock of everyone else in the group upon seeing his phone.  He said that it didn't fall on concrete, didn't fall on a hard wood floor, but instead fell on carpeting.  (I'm assuming carpeting with not much in the way of padding behind it and not a plush sort either.)


    He then went on to share how he still used it with no problem.  Thankfully he has insurance on it, but he says that it still works fine for him. More of a cosmetic issue with the cracked screen but no real functionality issues.  It takes a licking and keeps on....(you know the rest).   Do you have a crazy story about how your phone got damaged? I'd love to hear some.
