@NatalieWires - Hi all!
Q - #1 To begin @NatalieWires - Where were you born? Where did you go to High School, and what did you do after you graduated? A: I was born and raised in Stillwater, MN (amazing town), graduated HS there and went to UW-Eau Claire, which I loved.
Q - #2 So what did you take for courses in college, and what kind of work have you done since graduating up until now? A: My degree was Mass Comm w/ emphasis in Public Relations so the usual comm/journalism classes.
A couple interesting ones include Pop Culture where we discussed Harry Potter and Eminem...
...and a directed study on media's influence on girls' body image.
As for work, I interned at the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce and following graduation ended up w/ #TeamTunheim.
Q - #3 So what is your role at #TeamTunheim, and what kind of clients have you been able to work with? A: I am an Account Executive and focus mainly on media relations and social media, with some events work in there too.
One of the great things about Tunheim is we aren't siloed so we work across industries, but I focus a lot on consumer
Clients include @PunchPizza, local author of paranormal romance MaryJanice Davidson and Prevent Blindness America.
Q - #4 How do you use Social Media for clients, and how have you used it personally? A: In a best case scenario, you take a passion brand like @PunchPizza, engage w/ fans and energize them to help promote
Companies with not as avid fans, find the right niche and work on expert positioning, general awareness and engagement.
Personally, use it to connect w/ ppl w/ similar interests (SM, music, travel), get breaking news and build a network
Q - #5 Who are 5-10 people that you follow on Twitter that inspire, entertain or educate you? A: @derickson is an amazing mentor b/c he is wicked smart, loves to teach and is not at all arrogant.

Q - #6 Now for the FAVS questions: Favorite - restaurant(s), store(s), summer activity and place to vacation? A: Restaurant: Love @Solera_mn & Chino, summer activity: camping on the islands on the St. Croix & Jimmy Buffett concert
Vacation: Fiji or Byron Bay, Australia are at the top of the list of places I've been
Q - #7 Cool. To end with @NatalieWires for the day and the week - What thought or mantra would you like to share? A: Let's go w/ "Be glad of life b/c it gives you the chance to love, and to work, and to play and to look up at the stars.
